Born Melody Amor Prado Cortez, a.k.a Althea Vega, is a Professional Film Actress, an International Certified Personal Trainer of the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and a member of The Register of Exercise Professionals in UAE.

She is also a Fitness Champion winning the Grand titles of Ms. Gold’s Gym Staff Philippines in 2019, Ms. Great Bodies Slimmers World International in 2015, and a finalist at the Fitness Universe in 2016 held in Miami Florida, U.S.A.

She graduated from the University of Perpetual Help Rizal in Las Pinas City, Philippines, with a Bachelor of Arts major in Mass Communication.

I am a skinny guy who stands 5’10” but weighed less than 55 kilos.

I can say that I am in much better shape now than before I started training with coach Althea. I gained 4.3 kilos since. It is small in absolute terms, but it translates to an 8 percent increase in my body weight. And the quality of the gain is also healthy. Because while I gained 8 percent overall, I lost an inch around my waistline.


The changes I have gone through were not limited to what I can see on the weighing scale or the tape measure.
